Interview with the Director of the Film “Servus Papa, See You In Hell” Christopher Roth and the screenwriter Jeanne Tremsal, interviewer Christoph Gröner
“The moment I was really getting interested was this flip from paradise to hell.” - Christopher Roth
Jeanne is a girl who grew up in an Austrian commune, where the Nazi ideology is honored and the reinvention of totalitarian structures is the daily norm. However, her life changes completely when she falls in love with a boy, thus breaking the most important rule of the commune: love is forbidden. Youngsters join forces and run away from the place they used to call home, but with it comes a confusing uncertainty about the future.
Christopher Roth is a film director from Germany who also works to some extent as a writer and an artist. In his style, he combines facts with imagination, giving his works both analytical and poetic qualities.
Jeanne Tremsal is a writer and an actress. She is known for Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei (1996) and Rabbit Without Ears (2007).
