"“The Fisherman’s Daughter” is Edgar de Luque Jácome’s first feature film. He has won the FDC's screenwriting stimulus with three of his screenplays. Samuel is a fisherman in the Caribbean, practicing the disappearing art of free-diving to catch the prey. His disgraced daughter Priscila comes home to him looking for a place to hide. One of the fishermen extorts Priscila as he knows why she returned to the village, this brings the father and daughter closer together.
