This long-anticipated animated film tells a story about a young woman named Zelda, who has been convinced from an early age through stories, songs, and fairy tales, that love could solve all problems, if only you follow the norms and expectations of society. The older she grows, the more she feels that her understanding of love might not be entirely true, and her body and soul start fighting the same norms she grew up with.
Roberts Vinovskis is a Latvian art director and film producer who has made several award-winning films. Vinovskis has produced such films as “Exiled” (2016), “Rocks in My Pockets” (2014), “The Man in the Orange Jacket” (2014), and the Estonian-Latvian coproduction “Jõulud džunglis” / “Christmas in the Jungle” (2020).
