An interview with Juan Pablo Gugliotta, the producer of "I Trust You", interviewer Javier Garcia Puerto
"Is it a documentary, fiction, or a musical? “I Trust You” makes the viewer question whether the narrators can be trusted to tell their story or are they living in the realm of wishes and soap opera storylines.
Produced by Juan Pablo Gugliotta, Agustín Toscano’s film tells the story of Susana and Nélida who met in a convent, which they left to lead a life together and even adopted a 3-year-old daughter Erika. Instead of a happy-ever-after, however, the two women were accused of a crime and sentenced to 20 years in prison, although they maintained their innocence.
The viewers are in for an original narrative that will surprise and move everyone.
Together with the interviewer, Garcia Puerto, Gugliotta compares the movie to a russian doll. With it's many layers and not knowing what will happen next or what kind of genre it will turn into next.
