Filmed in one uninterrupted take, the action of this edgy dark comedy takes place at two major locations, connected by a wild ride on the streets of Riga. A rebellious daughter of an investigative reporter decides to expose a secret esoteric organization the aim of which is to implement only fresh water.
Latvian producer and director Matīss Kaža has produced and directed a number of short, fiction and documentary films and has always believed that it is possible to learn about the whole world through the process of filmmaking. His first full-length feature film “The Taste of Water” can be considered Latvia’s first western.
